Course Description

The basic purpose of this course is to introduce students to the world of management. The topics covered focus on meeting the challenges inherent in a dynamic, rapidly changing business environment, developing the competencies and skills that managers will need in the future, and responding to the contemporary management trends that will affect both organizations and managers in the 21st century. Discussion and activities will focus on the basic functions of management, human competencies and skills, ethics, and the changing environment of business.
