Please note:

Note that Geometry and History of Math are offered in alternating years, so it is very important you take them when they are offered.

Try to encourage students to take an average of 15 credits per semester.
I try not to load first year students' first semesters with a heavy load.
Any math credits beyond the 48 credit limit will NOT count towards the students' 120 credits for graduation.
If indeed, a student wants to take more math classes, then please advise them to take enough non-math classes.
Please note that a few pure math electives are 2cr courses.
If students want to participate in programs ( study abroad, internships, etc. ) that require them to be away from UMM campus, then plan for them to fit their courses in other semesters.
The course Math 4901: Senior Seminar is a capstone course for a student's mathematics major. A student should complete any courses which relate to their senior seminar project before they register for the senior seminar.
For example, if a student wishes to pursue a senior seminar that involves a topic in pure math, the student will have completed the pure math courses Math 3221 Analysis and Math 3231 Abstract Algebra I. Further, if the student's project involves geometry, they should have completed Math 3211 Geometry.
