The Wood and Strings Puppet Theatre came to town and before they performed they held a puppet making session. Here's the puppet I designed. (My dad helped to wield the hot glue gun.)

Dad, mum and I spent Christmas 1997 with granma and grandad in Britain. Boxing Day we vistited the Lake District and fed the swans.
We met a friend of my mum's and her family at Warwick Castle. It was hard work for me to climb the tower because I only have short legs but it was great fun just the same.
