Thomas Sutherland McPhee's
Home Page

Howdy! My name is Thomas. I was born on 18 December 1993 under what can be generously described as confusing conditions (among other things I weighed under 4 pounds at birth), but I don't seem any worse off for it.

My dad is Nic McPhee, and my mum is Susan Gilbert. He's American and she's British, so I actually get to have two passports and travel a lot to cool places to see my relatives! I've already visited two foreign countries (Canada and Great Britain) and I hope to be visiting more very soon. Watch this space to keep up with the latest news on my upcoming travels. D-Day is 4th August 2000 when we depart Minnesota for Iceland on the first leg of our trip to the UK where we'll spend the next 10 months. Lucky for us Anna and Wendell have agreed to live in our house and take care of the cats. So don't worry about Portia and Turq, they'll have plenty of company, including Anna's two cats. Let's hope they all get on well.

I like to visit (whether I'm invited or not) the neighbours, especially Scott and Jess, who designs all my halloween costumes. (She just got a tenure-track position at the U so she'll be around for a few more years. Yippeeeeeee!!!!!!)

I'm a product of the modern age and love all that technology can offer. I love playing computer games like Freddi Fish, ISPY and Amazing Animals on my iMac. (Macintosh rocks!!!) I've become a fan of Crashbox and 30X30 Kidflixs, both shows on HBO Family. When I'm a little older I plan on making my own movies but until then I'm learning the tricks of the trade.

My activities for summer 2000 include: peewee baseball, swimming lessons, I'm working with some other kids to put on a play (The Gingerbread Man), and I'm co-hosting (with my parents) a radio show on KUMM. (Summer hours for my show are Sat/Sun 6pm-9pm. If you go to the KUMM web page you can listen to us live on-line.)

Here are my other web pages for you to look at

My current home page photos are from summer 1996. Tip of the photo credit cap to Mum, who's pretty sharp with a camera. The funky human powered mower belongs to Scott.

At the moment I don't do e-mail (hopefully that'll change soon), but you can send stuff to either of my parents (Sue and Nic), and they'll pass it along.
