You found me! Welcome to my page, websurfer! I bet you're here for one of two reasons. 1) You want to know something about the University of Minnesota, Morris and its fabulous Science and Math Division or 2) You are a folk music fan and want to know a little something about my doings in that world. Lets first address curiosity #1... By day, I'm office goddess (secretary) for the Division of Science and Mathematics. This amazing array of scientists provides me with an ongoing stream of fascinating facts that encompass everything from endangered prairie flowers to glacial moraines to bio-inorganic chemistry to...well, you get the idea. Don't take my word for it...check out their homepages below for yourself. These folks do amazing, creative stuff!
And now for interest #2: The fabulous world of folk music. Songwriting and performing are the primary passions of my life. I play rhythm guitar and acoustic bass in the duo, "PrairieDogs." If you want to learn more about the Dogs and our gig schedule, come visit the DogHouse.
The following sites will allow you to access information about UMM and about folk music. There will be more links in the near future as I perfect my skills in the necessary but daunting world of web site creation.
Or, if you're interested in surfing to one of my favorite spots, check these out....
