There are a number of useful resources for petrology students on the web. Always remember that the web is not always rigorously reviewed and edited, so use it at your own risk. There are also a number of resources available in our labs including textbooks, mineral and rock identification supplies, microscopes, etc. See the Mineralogy class webpage for a list of mineral sites.
