Welcome to Mineralogy at UMM! This website will serve as a repository for lecture and lab materials and exercises and as a means to keep students informed of class announcements and schedule changes. Check this page frequently throughout the semester for the most up-to-date information. If you have any questions, please email me.

MESSAGES

• Our first class day will be Wednesday, August 29, at 11:45 am. Lab will meet during the second week of classes (Tuesday, September 4).

• Students will need key cards to access the Mineralogy/Petrology lab. Stop by my office (Sci 2365) anytime before the start of classes to get an approval slip. Otherwise, I will hand out slips on the first class day.

• The Fall field trip to the north shore of Lake Superior and the Gunflint Trail will be Friday, October 5, through Sunday, October 7. This trip is required for those students enrolled in Geol 2101 unless you have an approved excuse.
