Lab exercises

  • Lab 8: Intro to Satellite Imagery (Lab 8 assignment)

Optional lab exercises

Below are links to lab exercises that were developed by others at different institutions (primarily M. Helper at UT Austin). These exercises are very interesting and address real environmental hazards. They also reinforce skills that are developed through the required lab exercises and introduce some new concepts (e.g., 3D rendering using ArcScene) that are not necessarily covered in the required labs. Feel free to work through these if you wish, and let me know if you have any questions or problems.

Old lab exercises

Below are links to lab exercises that were done during previous versions of this course but are no longer being used. They involve procedures that might be useful for student projects (geodatabase development, georeferencing, digitizing) and are included here for reference and information only.
